i am so ready for the weekend. haven’t had the most productive week ever (or the least productive week though) but i just feel really tired and am looking forward to a couple of lie-ins. due to an attack of indecision we are just going to be staying in kirkby for the weekend. we did toy with going down to brum to sort out more wedding things.

i have discovered confetti.co.uk and have been looking on the message boards there for handy hints and advice. found a good one today recommending a hairdressers in northfield (where my brummie house is) who will do hair, make-up, manicure and hand massage (however useful that is) for £85, including a trial session. that sounds good to me. will have to go and see them. keep getting all excited and nervous now when i think about wedding things. still a long way off though.

been thinking of getting a part-time job to help pay for things and to boost our savings for our future. my bursary pays well, but with all the deductions they take from it (fees being the big killer) only about half of it actually finds its way to me. am going to apply for a deferment of student loans payments which should help lots. maybe i could resurrect my extensive barmaiding skills for a couple of nights a week. poo knows what this would mean for tax though, since i have no understanding of things like that. i think you have to ask for permission from the university before you can start a second job as well. all very complicated.

oh, got to go and meet carl for a cafe trip.
